Final Adios! Singer KK's Mortal Cremated In The Presence Of Family And Friends

The nation got devastated by the news of the demise of popular singer KK. There is a wave of sadness across the country. His death is an irreparable loss to the music industry. Earlier, the singer was given tribute in Kolkata where he took his last breath. There he was given a salute in the presence of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.

Today, KK's mortal remains arrived in Mumbai and his cremation took place at Mumbai’s Versova Hindu Cemetary. His funeral was attended by film industry personalities such as singers Shreya Ghoshal, Alka Yagnik, Harshdeep Kaur, Rahul Vaidya, and Papon, directors Kabir Khan and Vishal Bhardwaj, lyricist Javed Akhtar, music directors Shankar Mahadevan and Salim Merchant, and many more personalities from the industry.

Prior to the funeral, senior celebs such as Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, and others visited KK's Andheri residence in Mumbai for antim darshan. Several politicians extended their condolences to his fans and family taking from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Rahul Gandhi. Senior actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and many more grieved the loss on social media.

KK has given us some beautiful memories and soulful songs in a career span of more than three decades that will stay with us forever. May the departed soul rest in peace.
