Indian famous singer passes away at the of 53 in Kolkata during a live concert. He gave India many hits during the last 3 decades. On Tuesday, He performed at Nazrul Mancha and later went to his hotel where he fell ill. He was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead.Arup Biswas on KK's death, “Singer Anupam Roy called me up and said he is hearing something bad from the hospital. Then I contacted the hospital. They said he was brought dead. Then I rushed to the hospital.

Kamal Hassan tweets, "The news of the untimely death of Krishnakumar Kunnath alias KK, who entertained the fans by singing in multiple languages, is shocking. My condolences to the family, friends and fans who lost him."

Arman Mailk is in shock by the death of KK. His tweet reads, "Extremely Sad and devastated, Another shocking loss for all of us. Can’t believe our KK sir is no more… what is even happening. I can’t take it anymore.” Calling it a personal loss, he added to his next tweet, “Black year for Indian music. Lata didi, Bappi da, Sidhu paaji and now KK sir. These losses…all of them feel so personal.”
