The concept 'door' reflects the time frame when BTS had commenced their musical journey nine years ago and paved their path of success by making and breaking records unlocking the new 'door' for themselves. It is the traces of their footsteps as an inspiration to create history. it signifies aspiration to go ahead towards the juncture.

The contradiction among the two versions of the concept photos of BTS in terms of the color of the outfits and background, denotes the past and future of BTS, respectively. In the earlier version of the concept photo for Proof, the bangtan boys were seen slaying in all Black standing in front of the metallic door while in the new version they are all seen standing in the white backdrop with serious expressions on the camera.

However, the septet has kept it all sophisticated keeping their attires of soft, calming shades of colors. By keeping it all white, BTS gives out the message that the future will be peaceful and will have a lot more things to offer with full optimism and hope. They all look even more composed in their individual cuts. Each member stands out with their aura and charm.
