Prithviraj movie name has now changed to Samrat Prithviraj!!

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Prithviraj has now changed it's name to Samrat Prithviraj. This was done after several rounds of discussion. The film's makers, YRF has penned an official letter to Shri Rajput Karni Sena President, informing him about the development.

Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie name has now changed to Samrat Prithviraj . This changes are done after several rounds of discussion.

After numerous meetings and service of notice, Prithiviraj makers YRF, considering the sentiment and demand of the Rajput community, on May 27, has agreed to change the film name from Prithviraj to Samrat Prithviraj.

The development comes considering the demand of Shree Rajput Karni Sena.Advocate Raghavendra Mehrotra, who is representing Shree Rajput Karni Sena, had sent the legal notice followed by filing a PIL no. (St) 16448/2022 before the Hon'ble High Court. The demand was the change in the name of the film considering the sentiment of his client, that stated that the Rajput community was hurt.
