The Kapil Sharma Show's Fame Sumona Chakravarti Opens Up About Her Wedding Rumors With Kajol's Relative Samrat Mukerji

Comedian and Indian Telly actor Sumona Chakravarti who is one of the members of the popular The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) has recently opened up about reports of her wedding with Samrat Mukerji. In the latest media interaction, Sumona refuted the claims that suggested she is going to tie the knot with Samrat Mukerji. She stated, 'this is rubbish' and labeled it as '10-year-old stories'.

While responding she said, "Oh, God! These are old 10-year-old stories from social media. This is rubbish. Frankly, no comments, I don't like to talk about my personal life. If ever there's any development, you all will get to know about it. I shall announce it." Further talking about her friendship with Samrat she expressed, "He's a friend. That's about it. I don't speak to the media about my friends or family and I want to keep it that way.

Though now Sumona has clearly denied the reports of her marriage, a few years ago in one of the interviews she had said, "Where is the time to date or hang out with him? He is busy making films in Kolkata and I meet him only for five days during Durga Puja in Mumbai. He is a family friend and that’s it. We don’t meet or talk to each other often."

Samrat Mukerji happens to be the cousin of well-known Bollywood celebrities Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. He is the son of Rono Mukerji and the brother of actor Sharbani Mukherjee.

Sumona recently traveled to The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra's Chandrapur accompanied by her family members. Samrat too had posted images from the same location. Sharing a picture of a tiger he wrote, "Peeping Tom.." with the hashtags tiger, tigers, Tadoba National Park, jungle, Samrat, and Samrat Mukerji. This has created speculations about both two being together on social media by the fans.
