KGF Chapter 2 became the first Kannada film to show in South Korea.
KGF Chapter 2 has successfully smashed the global box office record and became the successful highest-grossing Indian film of 2022 and the third high-grossing Indian film of all time. Now it has gained another achievement by becoming the 1st Kannada film to be showcased in South Korea.
KGF: Chapter 2 is also the first Indian film to be screened in the country post-pandemic. It was screened along with the Hindi version in South Korea.
The popularity of the film is showing Yash’s fandom growing bigger and bigger by the day overseas too.
KGF: Chapter 2 stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles. Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, and several other actors from the supporting cast.
KGF tells the story of Rocky, whose name strikes fear in the heart of his foes. His allies look up to him as their Savior, the government sees him as a threat, and his enemies are clamoring for revenge. The film has broken all the records on its first day at the box office by becoming the highest opening film ever in India, beating the likes of WAR, Thugs Of Hindostan, Happy New Year, and Bahubali 2.

KGF has also broken a lifetime collection records of Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express ( Rs 227.13 crore) and Salman Khan’s Kick (Rs 231.85 crore). It collected Rs 55-55 crore in the overseas market, bringing the worldwide total to around Rs 675 crore which is just phenomenal.
