On first Monday, the Ajay Devgn starrer Runaway 34 showed promise but Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 crashed big time.
The Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2 is going nowhere as the action drama suffered a big drop on first Monday after a low weekend. It received mixed reviews from the critics and the audiences as per Book My Show website but took better opening than Ajay Devgn starrer Runway with Rs 6.50 crore on its first day. It slipped on Saturday with Rs 5.5 crore while Sunday was bad with Rs 4 crore, bringing the first weekend total to just Rs 15 crore.
The Monday collection was even bad with action drama crashing to around Rs 2 crore, bringing the 4 day figure to Rs 17-17.50 crore. The budget of action flick is Rs 100 crore which is a troubling sign for Tiger Shroff starrer.

Ajay Devgn could heave a sign of relief as Runway 34 held well on its first Monday. Runway 34 got good reviews but got hit by the clash and the ongoing wave of KGF 2 as the Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet starrer minted Rs 3 crore on its first day. However, there was a big jump on Saturday with Rs 4.75 crore followed by another good growth on Sunday with Rs 5.5 crore, summing up the first weekend collection to Rs 14.25 crore.
The good news is that flight drama held on to its ground on first Monday with somewhere between Rs 2.25-2.5 crore, bringing the four days total to Rs 16.50-17 crore. The budget of the film is Rs 65 crore. Runway 34 is produced and directed by Ajay Devgn, also stars Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh in key roles.
