According to the Boxofficeindia.com, Aashiqui 2  was released on 26th April, 2013 at 1150 screens to Rs 5.11 crores.  Produced by T-Series and Mukesh Bhatt, the romantic-drama collected Rs 17.90 crores in its first weekend and went onto collect Rs 34.69 crores in its first week. Aashiqui 2 ended its theatrical run with Rs 78.64 crores against a budget of Rs 15 crores and turned out to be “Blockbuster” at the box office.
