Talking about it, Huma says, “This is the role of a lifetime for me. Tarla Dalal is someone we’ve all grown up watching. Our mothers are fans of her simple and charming homestyle dishes. For me, coming from a Family that enjoys food (Qureshi’s family owns a thriving Restaurant business in Delhi and Dubai), the story is close to my heart. It is not just about food and how it touches the soul but a common woman’s ability to realize her big dreams. It is an inspirational tale that I hope will strike a chord with everyone in India. Usually, women are told all they are good for is cooking; here’s a lady who took that and turned it on its head.”
