Shilpa Shetty’s Mother Freed On Bail for ₹21 Lakh In A Cheating Case
Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra shares an extremely close bond with her mother, Sunanda Shetty and her social media handle features enough proof of the same.
The doting daughter often shares how her mommy, Sunanda, had taken care of her and her sister, Shamita, single-handedly after the death of their father, Surendra Shetty. Time and again, we have heard Shilpa and Shamita crediting their mom for their success in their respective careers.
However, after a wait of many years, a big verdict has been announced by the magistrate court in Mumbai in the fraud and cheating case in which Shilpa Shetty Kundra's mother, Sunanda Shetty was allegedly involved.
Sunanda's bailable warrant was issued by the court last month. The court denied Sunanda's lawyer's request for an exemption from the hearing and issued a Rs 1,000 warrant instead.
It is claimed that Parhad Amra, the owner of Mervin Automotive, was given a loan of Rs. 21 lakh by a Shetty family-owned business in 2015. Following Surendra Shetty's 2016 death, the family reportedly refused to pay back the money.
According to the investigation, Sunanda Shetty's late husband Surendra took out a loan for Rs 21 lakh in 2015, which was later shown to be a scam.
Amra sought to claim that the Shetty family refused to return the debt after Surendra Shetty died in 2016. The Shetty sisters, Shilpa and Shamita, were previously linked to the case.
An important judgement in the fraud and cheating case against Shilpa Shetty Kundra's mother, Sunanda Shetty, has been pronounced by the Mumbai magistrate court after a long wait. The Shetty family's legal battle seems to be coming to an end.
