Vivek Agnihotri proved that content is the king as his latest riveting truth on Kashmir with The Kashmir Files had already won the hearts audience from the first day itself. Surprisingly, the blunt film opened decently in the morning shows but thanks to the mind blowing (as per Book My Show), collected a solid Rs 97.30 crore in first week followed a better performing second week with Rs 108.97 crore despite the release of Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchhan Paandey. Due to a big release of SS Rajamouli directed RRR, the political drama dropped in its third week with 30.95 crore.

Attack 1st Weekend Box Office – John Abraham Starrer Performs Below Expectations

Due to the release of Attack and Hollywood film Morbius, the political drama suffered on 4th Friday with Rs 1.50 crore but bumped up its collection on Saturday to Rs 2.25 crore followed by further growth on Sunday with Rs 3 crore, summing up the total to Rs 245.03 crore and now has crossed the lifetime collection of Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba which collected Rs 240.31 crore and Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 3 which minted Rs 244.92 crore. The Kashmir Files has been made on an overall budget of Rs 14 crore and will be crossing the 200 mark today itself.
