Shocking! Choreographer Ganesh Acharya gets press charged of 3 offences; find out the details

Bollywood's well known choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who has choreographed songs like Chikni Chameli, Oo Antava and many others has been charged for harrasment, voyeurism and stalking along with his assistant.

A report in Bombay Times said that a charge sheet has been documented by the Mumbai Police as of late. Ganesh Acharya was accused for the doings by another choreographer/artist. The case was recorded in 2020, states the report. Sandeep Shinde, the investigating Police Officer from the Oshiwara station uncovered that a charge sheet has been documented by the metropolitan magistrate in Andheri.

Acharya alongside his assistant have been charged under areas of 354-a (sexual harrasment), 354-c (voyeurism), 354-d (stalking), 509 (offending the modesty of any women), 323 (causing hurt), 504 (deliberate affront with goal to incite break of the harmony), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention to carry out an offense) of the Indian Penal Code.

The fellow chroegrapher revealed that she was educated about the charge sheet being filed. Acharya was accused of all these charges back in 2020 but he denied all of them. The report claimed that Ganesh Acharya had been bugging her ever since she denied his sexual gestures. Besides, she said that he would pass licentious remarks and show her p*rn.
