The Kashmir Files 3rd Saturday Box Office – Bounces Back With 70% Growth

From the visual story teller, SS Rajamouli, who made films like Magadheera, Eega (Makhi in Hindi), Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the expectations from his fans and audience alike soared high when they saw the motion poster, first trailer of Ram Charan And Jr. NTR starrer RRR was supposed to release on 31st July, 2020 but the makers pushed it due to the unwanted pandemic situation. As the film released on 25th March, it took an gigantic opening with Rs 20.07 crore followed by a solid Rs 23.75 crore on Saturday.

The Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt starrer has been receiving solid reviews as per Book My Show which led to the further growth on Saturday and minted somewhere between Rs 30-32 crore in the Hindi version, bringing the total 3 days to Rs 74-76.50 crore,

RRR collected Rs 46.5 crore in the Telugu version, Rs 8 crore in Tamil, Rs 3,2 crore in Malayalam and Rs 3 crore in Kannada, bringing the third day total to Rs 90 crore (rough trade estimates), and overall total to Rs 316 crore. The budget of RRR is estimated to be around Rs 600 crore. 

RRR has been released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The pre-independence drama is  produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment and is based on the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem
