Sharmaji Namkeen Trailer Out Now- Rishi Kapoor to make his final appearance on screen, fans get emotional

For the first time ever in the Indian Cinema, we will see two veterans play the same role in a movie. Late actor Rishi Kapoor, who succumbed to cancer in the year 2020 will be seen for the last time in the film titled Sharmaji Namkeen by Prime Video as B.G. Sharma.

The trailer for the upcoming Amazon Original Movie Sharmaji Namkeen has been released by Prime Video. Since the time Rishi Kapoor had passed away, there were few parts that were left to film for which Paresh Rawal decided to step in and complete the shoot.

The trailer is filled with flavor and a whole lot of love, displaying a poignant and relatable tale about a widower who takes up the most absurd chores for his own entertainment to keep himself busy. Even after much trial and error, after joining a women's kitty group he discovers a passion for cooking.

As soon as the trailer came out the audience was very quick to react to it. While most of them liked the unique idea of featuring two marvelous actors in one role, some of them paid their heartfelt tribute to the late actor. The film is set to officially release on March 31st on the OTT platform. Featuring the late Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, as well as Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar, this is a family entertainer with a cast of great actors.

Directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, Sharmaji Namkeen will premiere across 240 countries and territories worldwide.
