1. Jersey

The movie was originally scheduled for a release in August 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic. The makers then announced another release date during Diwali but it was postponed for a third time to December 31.

Also starring Mrunal Thakur, the film is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Telugu blockbuster of the same name.

“Jersey” is produced by South film producers Allu Aravind, Dil Raju and Kapoor’s producer friend Aman Gill.

2. Sooryavanshi

The Rohit Shetty - directed cop drama was originally scheduled for a release on March 24 last year, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement, the makers said Shetty attended a meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and decided to push the April release date owing to the situation in the state.

Last June, Reliance Entertainment, which is backing "Sooryavanshi", had announced to release the film during Diwali.

However, in October the movie was again postponed due to theatres being shut in Maharashtra and in some parts of the country.

3. Radhe - Shyam

The film was originally scheduled to release on 30 July 2021, however, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

Fans have been waiting with bated breath for Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s love saga. But ‘Radhe Shyam’ won’t keep its date with the audience on January 14.

Radhe Shyam is a story about love vs destiny and we are sure that your love will help us tide over these tough times together.”

4. RRR

RRR losses after getting postponed: Considering the rising Covid-19 cases across the country and the tightening of civil restrictions, the makers of Ram Charan and Jr NTR-starrer RRR on January 1, 2022 decided to postpone the release date of the film.

The postponement of release has come as a shock to many since the release of other big-budget projects which were initially slated to hit the big screens during Sankranthi such as Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s Bheemla Nayak and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, were postponed to avoid a clash at the box-office.
