The Golden Globe awards kicks off the season of awards in Hollywood which eventually ends with the Oscar. The 2022 Oscar awards nomination, which also celebrates the 94th edition, were full of surprises with movies like "The Power of the Dog" earning 12 nomination, followed by Dune with 10, Belfast and West Side Story earning seven nods each. India's entry for Oscar, Jai Bhim, was snubbed, disppointing many Indians who felt that the court drama had solid chance to crack the Oscar Awards in the Best Foreign Film category
