Mahek Chalal talks about her role in Naagin 6.
Yet another edition of Ekta Kapoor’s super natural show Naagin 6 is all set to hit the rocks and this time Ekta Kapoor’s story is inspired by the coronavirus pandemic. While some people are liking this storyline, part of a group is criticizing it.
Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash is playing a titular role in the show. Simba Nagpal will be playing a double role and Mahek Chahal will also be one of the serpents.
In yesterday’s virtual press conference of Naagin 6, Mahek Chahal talked about her role and how her role is the dream of every other girl.
Mahek Chahal said, “Honestly, I’m playing the Indian Wonder Woman. She is out there to save the world from coronavirus. It’s a very positive character and I’m super excited about it. The whole story had been changed this season. And I’m glad that the makers were able to create such a strong character. I’ve worked with Ekta earlier in Kavach and I think she saw it in me to pull this off. I had shifted to Goa post the lockdown and she called me with this show. It’s an amazing role and I’m sure many girls would want to be in my shoes at the moment”.
Yesterday Mahek Chahal revealed her look from the show and captioned it with a long note. She penned, “The wait is finally over….. Excited to reveal my look and my character for Naagin 6.
Naagin’s character spoke to me so deeply and I knew then I just had to take it up. She is the protecter of India, she is strong and powerful. I believe Indian women these days exude these qualities and that is why I wanted to take up a role that represents my belief in the woman of today.”
