Vineeta said that the good thing about shark tank is that unlike any other television show we have to be ourselves .

Sugar Cosmetics Vineeta revealed how at a young age her journey as an entrepreneur began after a conversation with a professor. “I was 17 when a conversation with my professor set the course for the rest of my life.

While speaking about my career, he said, ‘You should be an entrepreneur!’ That was it; that's what I was set on becoming."IIT Madras & IIM AhmedabadDriven by her goal to make it big, Vineeta shared how she studied hard to crack IIT, which is among the most prestigious engineer colleges in India followed by IIM Ahmedabad, which is rated as the top most business school in India.

Vineeta also revealed that the showrunners asked them to just give their opinion and evaluate the business as investors . She said that it is a typically a 30-35 minutes discussion of which only 15 minutes is aired .

There was one round of, as they call it, an audition. That was a very big motivation for me to want to do this as well. When the show team reached out, they got us a mock pitch where they said, ‘Here are the cameras and this is the pitch.

Let us do a personal audition, where you just be yourself and react how you would to any other pitch’,” she said.For the panel, the producers of Shark Tank India were looking for people who could bring different skill sets to the table, Vineeta said.

“They were very clear that they wanted to see founders because a lot of the companies that came in were brands. They also wanted representation from women because the number of female entrepreneurs pitching at Shark Tank was almost 50% and they wanted similar representation in the panel.

For various reasons, it just clicked,” she said, talking about how she came on board.
