Food challenges at popular restaurants and cafes are getting very popular nowadays and 10-foot-long Dosa is one of them which became viral recently as the restaurant is offering a cash prize of Rs 71,000.
A recent video uploaded by an Inst handler a food blogger @delhi_tummy shows a restaurant chef at Swami Shakti Sagar in Uttam Nagar preparing a 10-foot dosa. Its food challenge of a giant dosa, which has potato filling and whoever eats the 10-ft-long-foot will receive a cash prize of Rs 71,000.
This video has gone viral and has gained 5 lakh likes on Instagram. Many users asked if anyone has been able to win the prize so far. Then there were some who said eating such a big meal can lead to serious health problems and Rs 71,000 won't be enough to cover it.
Last year in 2021, a restaurant in Pune came up with a food eating contest that gave participants a chance to win a Bullet motorcycle worth Rs 1.65 lakh. The 'Win a Bullet bike' contest required participants to finish a non-veg thali within 60 minutes.
The task was not an easy one because the platter consisted of around 12 dishes made with 4 kilograms of mutton and fish. The dishes included Fried Surmai, Pomfret Fried Fish, Chicken Tandoori, Dry Mutton, Grey Mutton, Chicken Masala and Kolumbi (Prawn) Biryani.
