Equipped with good reviews, the Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer Bangarraju minted another solid amount on its first Monday at the box office. The action drama opened to a solid response with Rs 10.65 crore on its first day. There was a slight growth on Saturday with Rs 11.50 crore on the second day while Sunday was flat with Rs 10.05 crore. There was a drop on Monday with Rs 5.1 crore which was fine considering the good collection on Friday. It did hold well on Tuesday with Rs 3.47 crore but dropped on Wednesday with Rs 2.96 crore but held well with Rs 2.68 crore on Thursday, bringing the first week collections to Rs 46.41 crore.

Bangarraju held well on its second Friday with Rs 2.30 crore while Saturday and Sunday were decent with Rs 2.46 crore and Rs 2.94 crore. The collections held well on Monday with Rs 2.08 crore followed by a solid hold on Tuesday with Rs 2.05 crore and Rs 1.50 crore, bringing the 13 days collections to around Rs 59 crore. Bangarraju has been made on an overall budget of Rs 35 Crores
