Celebrities pay tribute to Birju Maharaj Ji.

Yesterday night the living legend of Kathak, Birju Maharaj Ji passed away. A few days back Maharaj Ji was diagnosed with kidney disease and was on dialysis. He died of a heart attack. His grandson Swaransh Mishra informed him about his demise.

The classical singer and percussionist was Acchan Maharaj's son.

As soon as the celebrities got to know about the demise of Birju Maharaj, they paid tribute to the legend.

Adnan Sami posted his pic of Twitter and wrote, "Extremely saddened by the news about the passing away of Legendary Kathak Dancer- Pandit Birju Maharaj ji.
We have lost an unparalleled institution in the field of the performing arts. He has influenced many generations through his genius.
