At a time when fans were hoping that 2022 would be the year Shah Rukh Khan finally makes his big-screen comeback, reports state that the 'Pathan' shoot has been put on hold again.

According to the latest reports, shooting for Shah Rukh's big action flick has halted amidst a rise n COVID-19 cases in the country. Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Tiger 3' co-starring Katrina Kaif has also been put on hold. A report on entertainment portals state that the shoots have been halted as they require a huge team on set. Keeping in mind the risk factor, the directors and production house decided to halt work.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Salman’s ‘Tiger 3’ had not suffered much despite their leading lady Katrina Kaif

 testing positive for COVID-19. The team was reportedly shooting for the portions of Salman with a limited crew.

The new lockdown-like situation also impacted the shooting of films like Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’ and others.
