Happy Birthday A R Rahman: From working as a keyboard player to receiving Padma Bhushan and BAFTA; You truly became the king of Music

A R Rahman has evolved a lot in the industry of music.

Padma Bhushan, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Filmfare Award winner, A R Rahman aka Allah Rakha Rahman is turning a year older today. The singer and composer gave so many hits to our playlist.

After dropping the school A R Rahman started his career as a keyboard player and band arranger. When he was 10 he mastered the Guitar, Harmonium, Piano, and Keyboard. This made him more inclined towards music.

At the age of 11, he started learning music and playing in the orchestra.

Talking about his career, he initially did documentaries, and jingles for TVC. Then he started composing in the south and in the year 1993 he got National Film Awards.

When he started composing in Bollywood there was no looking back for A R Rahman. After giving many hits in Bollywood Rahman jumped in Hollywood in 2009.

As a composer, A R Rahman has evolved a lot and the result is in front of us.

Recently A R Rahman made headlines as his daughter got engaged to an audio engineer.
