In his first ever big release in multiple language, Allu Arjun stars in the action thriller, Pushpa, which released across India in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages worldwide in theatres on 18th December.

Bollywood Box Office Report – Top Grossing Films Of 2021

Pushpa opened to decent response in Hindi in the morning show occupancy was decent but picked up well in the evening and night shows at the box office. The Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil starrer Pushpa had shattered all the box office records as it collected an outstanding Rs 26.95 crore in its first week followed by Rs 20.24 crore in the second week in the Hindi version. The action drama did well on its third Friday with an amazing Rs 3.50 crore. Due to its mass appeal, Pushpa doubled its collection on third Saturday with Rs 6.10 crore and third Sunday with Rs 6.25 crore but dropped on 3rd Monday with Rs 3.8 crore. As per early trade report, the action drama collected Rs 3-3.2 crore on third Tuesday, bringing the 20 days total to around 70 crore. Pushpa had also crossed its budget which was Rs 180 crore as it collected Rs 186.72 crore in all languages from around 3000 screens across India.

Due to the cinema hall shut down and as per the latest report by Tollywood.net, Pushpa is all set to release on Amazon Prime on 7th January, 2022. Based on the story of the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, Pushpa has music composed by  Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively. Pushpa is being directed by Sukumar. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media
