Raashii Khanna starts shooting for 'Yodha', expresses gratitude on day 1!

All set to make her Bollywood debut in Dharma Productions' 'Yodha opposite Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna shared a note of gratitude for the team on the first day of the shoot.

After carving a place for herself in the South Film Industry, Raashii is now making her way into Bollywood with the action entertainer 'Yodha'. Sharing a picture of the welcome note from Dharma Productions, Raashii wrote, "Thank you for such a warm welcome @dharmamovies You have my heart ❤️ #day1 #Yodha".

In a recent interaction with PTI, Khanna said that every narrative choice of the director duo is aimed at breaking cinematic and gender tropes. "It has been a blessing to be a part of the project. Raj and DK are the creators of 'The Family Man' which has changed the way we see OTT shows. The way they treat their female characters is amazing. That's what I have understood working with them. They are extremely sensitive to issues and have no gender bias. They are into breaking those stereotypes, which is why they are these wonderful filmmakers," she said.

Apart from 'Yodha', Raashii has some interesting projects to her credit. The actress will be seen with Ajay Devgn in Rajesh Mapuskar's 'Rudra: The Edge of Darkness'. She is also teaming with the stellar team of Vijay Sethupati and Shahid Kapoor for Raj and DK's next action thriller show.
