Ameesha Patel who is all set to share the screen with Sunny Deol yet again in the sequel of Gadar is making headlines for being in a relationship with Congress leader Ahmed Patel's son Faisal Patel.

On Faisal's birthday Ameesha Patel tweeted a collage of some cozy pictures with Faisal and wrote, "Happy Birthday my darling Faisal Patel, love you, have a good year".

Replying to Ameesha Patel's tweet Faisal wrote, "Thank you Ameesha. I'm formally proposing in public, will you marry me?". After some hours of posting it, Faisal deleted the tweet.

Now talking to a leading daily, Ameesha Patel commented over the rumors of their dating. Ameesha said, "it is hilarious! Faisal and I go back a long way. We have known each other for years. I'm friends with him and his sister. That message was just an internal joke between us. There is nothing more to it. I'm single and I'm happy being single. I'm not interested in being in a relationship right now. Faisal is someone who loves to crack such jokes".
