The Delhi Transport Corporation DTC is procuring 300 E buses whose delivery was due to begin in November Last year . It was delayed due to a lot of reasons.

A Prototype of electric bus to be inducted in the fleet of the DTC , has arrived after a long wait and it will soon be flagged off by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, said delhi transport minister kailash gahlot .

The Delhi Transport Corporation DTC has proclaimed procuring of 300 buses whose delivery was supposed to begin on November Last year. It was delayed due to various reasons including the ongoing pandemic.More E Buses will be included in the DTC .

Approximately 3500 buses will be added to DTC and cluster fleet according to the induction plan of the transport department, official said.

In delhi coronavirus cases are also increasing at a very fast rate . Omicron virus also has spread its root in delhi. Omicron virus cases are highest in delhi after Maharashtra.

After a long wait prototype of DTC first 100% electric bus has been started and delhi cm arvind kejriwal will flag off this Electric Bus. Delhi has done good work in electronic buses but it also has to protect itself from the viruses before it is too late like omicron.

Omicron was first detected in South Africa on November 25 , has been described as a "variant of concern " by the WHO . Researchers are still checking if Omicron is more lethal .

In this way the virus has spread itself across various states of India . There is a huge possibility that it has spread in other states also but the cases have not been recorded. If the spread of virus continues in this way then it is not a good news for India.
