Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s name has cropped up in the ongoing 200 crore extortion case against jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

The actress has been summoned and grilled by the Enforcement Directorate quite a few times in this case. Chandrashekhar reportedly conned Jacqueline with a spoof call wherein he posed as a government official from Amit Shah’s office.

The News of Jacqueline Fernandes and sukesh Chandrashekar are on the internet from the past few months . There have been lots of rumours, some say they are in relationship, some say they are best friends, however some have said that according to Jacqueline they are only bestfriend.

India Today reportedly accessed ED documents recently and got to know the details of how Sukesh befriended Jacqueline. As per reports, Chandrashekhar had been trying to befriend Jacqueline since December 2020.

He then got in touch with the actress’ makeup artist Shaan Muthathil and impersonated an official from the Home Minister’s office. Sukesh reportedly said, “Jacqueline Fernandez must get in touch with Mr Shekhar as he is an important person and would like to speak to her.”

Shaan, who thought the call was real, told Jacqueline about this request from Amit Shah’s office. If reports are to be believed, Jacqueline first dialed Sukesh in February 2021, when Sukesh told her that he is calling from Jayalalithaa’s office, and is the owner of Sun TV.Jacqueline and Sukesh were reportedly in regular contact since then until his arrest in August 2021.

Apparently, Chandrashekar was Jacqueline’s fan and told her that she should do more films in the South. Reportedly, he also told her that as Sun TV, they have many projects lined up.

Chandrashekar associate and co-accused Pinky Irani was reportedly paid a hefty amount and expensive gifts in order to convince Jacqueline to befriend him. Apparently, Pinky also sent the actress expensive gifts on behalf of Chandrashekar.

The valuables presented to Bollywood celebrities Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi by multimillionaire conman Chandrashekhar Chandrashekhar are to be seized soon by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Chandrashekhar allegedly gave Jacqueline Fernandez presents worth Rs 10 crore and more between December 2020 and August 2021.Nora Fatehi informed the authorities during questioning that "the officials were free to seize the BMW car gifted to her by Chandrashekhar," according to a reliable source at IANS.

The source revealed that "Jacqueline told us that she didn't know the background of Sukesh Chandrashekhar and she was ready to cooperate with us in the process of seizing the gifts given to her by Sukesh.”

Section 5 of the PMLA shall be used to process the attachments. All of these presents were reportedly purchased with extorted funds, according to sources.

Both actresses are currently witnesses in the case, and their testimonies have been documented in the 200 crore PMLA lawsuit. When questioned why they were not named as suspects in the case, the source reportedly stated that both actresses were unaware of Sukesh's criminal history.
