19 years of Munna Bhai MBBS: Sanjay Dutt makes an appeal to Nagpurians to press Director Rajkumar Hirani for "Munna Bhai MBBS -3"!

Rajkumar Hirani‘s directorial debut Munna Bhai MBBS turned 18 years old yesterday (19th December 2021). The film was a box office hit and has gained a cult status over the years. Sanjay Dutt‘s character Munna bhai has become a memory and who can ever forget Arshad Warsi as Circuit. Sanjay Dutt made an emotional appeal to Nagpurians to press Director Rajkumar Hirani to make Munna Bhai 3.

The actor was in Nagpur at the Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav at Ishwar Deshmukh College ground. In the event, he said, “I am tired of requesting Raju Hirani many times. Since he hails from Nagpur, I appeal to Nagpurians to press him for making the Munnabhai franchise”.The full cast of Munna Bhai MBBS included Gracy Singh, Boman Irani, Sunil Dutt and Rohini Hattangadi among others.

The sequel saw additions of Vidya Balan and Dilip Prabhavalkar. Both the films have won National Awards for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment while the latter won three more awards– Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor and Best Lyrics. Everyone is excited to see Munna Bhai 3 but when will it be made? That’s a million dollar question.
