Exclusive: Code Name Abdul: Anshuman Sharma talks about how the film will do wonders for the people who are working on it

Yet another spy thriller, Code Name Abdul has been released. Tanishaa Mukerji is making her comeback through this film, and the film is directed by Eshwar Gunturu. The film revolves around the mission given to RAW. The film features Ashok Chaudhary, Khatera Hakimi, Sumend Wankhede, and Anshuman Sharma. We exclusively spoke to Anshuman Sharma. Anshuman is playing the role of Anwar in the film.

Here are some excerpts from the conversation:

1 The film has already been released so what type of reactions you are getting?

We are having great reactions of the film, as a fact most of the audience haven't guessed the main plot of the film yet which is good thing being its a suspense film, overall people are appreciating the film knowing that the film has most of the cast as debutantes. The majority of the actors in the film were debutantes.

2 Do you think the film will manage to do a miracle at the box office?

Given the response we are getting, I am positive it will. Along with the film I pray and wish that the people involved with the project gets recognition. Miracle can be a subjective topic, if I talk about myself I would love to get involved with more quality projects where I will get to play different characters and when that happens, will consider it Miracle for me, and yes I do believe in Miracles

3 Do you think apart from Tanisha, some other known and notable actress could have aced the role of Salma?

Tanisha did a fantastic job in Code Name Abdul. Of course, there are plenty of talented actresses in the industry who could play the role but the way I see it is like if Rohit Sharma makes a century in a match, can no other cricketer do the same? At the end of the day, Tanisha has aced the role of Salma in the movie. Maybe someone else could have also played the character but Tanisha has nailed her part in the film.
