Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who designed Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding outfits, said that they only saw each other’s outfits on the day of the wedding.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal had left everyone lovestruck with their dreamy wedding on December 9, 2021. The couple's relationship rumour had often made it to the headlines, but they had never come out and confirmed it. However, their relationship speculations turned true when Katrina had left for the airport in a yellow-coloured sharara on December 6, 2021.
In the lavish wedding, Katrina Kaif had looked gorgeous in a red Sabyasachi Mukherjee designer lehenga and jewellery. On the other hand, her groom, Vicky was looking dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani with a matching turban and doshala.
Recently, Vicky Kaushal's cousin, Upasana Vohra revealed an interesting detail about Vicky-Katrina's wedding. She revealed that the bride, Katrina only spoke in Punjabi with Vicky all throughout their wedding festivities. In a video that has been trending on the internet, Upasana answered social media users questions.
Speaking to Vogue India, Sabyasachi said, “The bride and groom didn’t see what the other was wearing until the day of the wedding, so it was beautiful to witness how in sync their visions were even as we worked on their ensembles, separately.”

He added, “Katrina is methodical and meticulous, and that made it easy for me to interpret their vision through my aesthetic.”
Katrina also paid tribute to Vicky’s Punjabi roots through her wedding veil, which was custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold.
