Amazon Prime’s original series Inside Edge 3 was acclaimed by critics for the fascinating characters, star studded cast and their performances as well. Creator and directed by Karan Anshuman and Kanishk Varma the show is studded with Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Aamir Bashir, Tanuj Virvani, Sayani Gupta, newly added Akshay Oberoi and so many stars.

In an exclusive Interview with Inside Edge 3 Creator Karan Anshuman and Director Kanishk Varma shared their journey and experiences with us, read here:

Talking about off the field politics and drama Karan Anshuman said,“Off Field Drama in Inside Edge is very tricky because that’s where you have to engage your audience. And that’s what the show is all about, it’s about what happens off field, what happens behind the screen & what happens with these people who plays cricket in real life and what’s in their mind, why they are the way they are; that’s what the show is all about.”

“This time I felt like we are taking a risk during twists and turns in the story because this was the layered season ever in the series. But at the end you need to find the balance between engaging your audience, entertaining them and still not going over the top in a ridiculous way, so I think we kind of did okay this time, laughs!” He added.

This time Inside Edge 3 has a cricket rivalry between India-Pakistan and they have shown the historical test series between both the countries. Director Kanishk Varma revealed how he processed on matches;

“We used to take references from past test matches for our on-field scenes and now after 1 year I can’t really imagine the suspense happening in recent test matches. We wrote our matches in a way that it will get more exciting but never imagine will witness such close matches in real.”
