Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is undeniably one of the most successful shows in the history of Indian Television. There have been multiple actors who quit the show along with other replacements. But TMKOC has managed to grab #1 position irrespective. We’ve exclusively learnt that Raj Anadkat aka Tapu may be bidding goodbye to the sitcom soon.
Coming in as probably one of the biggest developments to happen with Sab TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah recently, actor Raj Anadkat, who plays the role of Tapu has quit the show.
That's right. Recent reports suggest that Anadkat is set to bid the show goodbye and has already put down his papers. It is said that he was contemplating on quitting the show for a while and his contract was up for renewal in December. And just then, he had a talk with the makers and there was no conclusion that waa agreeable to both parties when it comes to the renewal.
Owing to that, the decision was taken and Anadkat decided to not continue. He is expected to wrap up shooting before Christmas.As known, in the recent history, actors like Gurucharan Singh aka Sodhi, Neha Mehta aka Anjali also quit the show for different reasons.
Anadkat took over from Bhavya Gandhi as Tapu back in 2017. After a four year stint, he is all set to call it curtains.
There is no update as to who will the new Tapu be.
