Special event organized to reward and recognize the efforts of children by Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust!


Leading social activist and real estate entrepreneur Nidarshana Gowani along with her NGO Ankibai Gowani Ghamandiram Trust organized various events during Navratri for the children. Nidarshana Gowani has a special affection for children and continuously works towards their betterment and growth in the society.

During Navratri, Nidarshana Gowani and her NGO organized a Fancy Dress Competition and Garba Night for the children from the Jeevan Jyoti Cancer Trust along with collaboration with I Love Mumbai Foundation. During the event, children from the trust dressed in traditional attire walked the ramp with leading Bollywood celebrities Rashami Desai and Pearl Puri. The children had a lovely time as everyone cheered for them and gave them an opportunity to display their talents. The celebrities along with children also performed Garba.

Nidarshana Gowani says, “It gives me immense pleasure to spend time children. They are challenged with life threatening diseases yet they are here with grit and courage to participate and enjoy every moment. There is so much we can learn from them. Children are the future of our country. It is our duty to give them the platform to showcase their talent and reward them for every effort they take. Every effort counts. We aim at building a society where children are provided with quality education to ensure a cognitive development to prepare the child for all that their future holds. Through this event we want to give children a platform to realize their true potential and chase their dreams”

Nidarshana Gowani has always been an active member of the society coming up with various events throughout the year in support of the children and quality education for them. During Dussehra she also rewarded the students who took part in different competitions to further encourage the children and make them self-employed for a brighter future.
