Amazon server outage takes down shopping site , prime video and more .This is the third outage of the country this year.

Downdetector which showed more than 14000 people who had trouble with the company ,tracks outages by colliding status reports from a number of sources including user submitted errors on its platform.

"We are experiencing API and console issues in the east US region ", Amazon said on a report in its service health dashboard.

Identified that it has worked on the cause and is resolving the issue.In July users experience a brief outage on company's platform including Alexa and prime video.

This lasted nearly 2 hours and has affected more than 38000 users .
