Directed by Milan Luthria, who has made films like  Kacche Dhaage, Taxi No. 9211, Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai and The Dirty Picture, Tadap catered to the young audience who gave thumbs up the romance drama which opened between the range of 20-25% that is better than the opening of Antim and Satyameva Jayate 2. The word of mouth is good so the collection picked up in the evening and night shows.

Tadap tells the story of Ishana (Ahan Shetty) who falls in love with a local politician-London-returned daughter, Ramisa (Tara Sutaria) and is produced by Sajid Nadiawala under the banner of Nadiawala Grandson Entertainment.
