Produced by Dharma Productions, Kal Ho Naa Ho was an iconic film which tells the stories of three people and what happens when they cross each other’s path. Nikhil Advani, as first time director scores brownie points with engaging screenplay which will keep you hooked for 186 mins. Kal Ho Naa Ho boasted off some great performances by Jaya BachchanShah Rukh KhanSaif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta as the lead characters, with Sushma Seth, Reema Lagoo, Lilette Dubey, and Delnaaz Paul in supporting roles. The highlight of the film was heart-touching music by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy who received the National award for Best Music Direction and Sonu Nigam received the Best Male Playback Singer.

According to the Boxofficeindia.comKal Ho Naa Ho was released on 27th November, 2003 at 400 screens and opened with a bang on its first day at the ticket window collecting Rs 2.17 crores. The film collected an outstanding Rs 6.71 crores in its first weekend and went onto collect an amazing Rs 12.45 crores in its first week. Kal Ho Naa Ho ended its theatrical run with a superb Rs 38.55 crores against a budget of Rs 28 crores and was declared “Blockbuster” at the box office. Kal Ho Na Ho currently stands at the 100th position in the list of Top Rated Indian Films.
