Directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra, Dhoom 2 was a nice follow up to the 2004 surprise hit, Dhoom. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra, Dhoom 2 had charbursting songs like “Crazy Kiya Re”, “Touch Me”, “Dil Laga Na” and “Dhoom Again” composed by Pritam. The action drama had a highly energetic and engaging trailer that connected well with the audience. As the songs released, audience were in for a treat as it had tuneful songs.

Dhoom 2 had a high-octane action scenes and stylish stunts which was appreciated by the audience. According to the Boxofficeindia.com, Dhoom 2 was released on 24th November, 2006 at 1000 screens opened with a bang on its first day at the ticket window collecting Rs 5.85 crores. The film collected an outstanding Rs 17.41 crores in its first weekend and went onto collect an amazing Rs 32 crores in its first week. Dhoom 2 ended its theatrical run with a superb Rs 81 crores against a budget of Rs 42 crores and was declared “Blockbuster” at the box office. Produced by Yash Raj Films Pictures, Dhoom 2 has met with mixed reviews by the critics.
