Sooryavanshi, starring the superstar Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif finally hit the theaters and the big budgeted Rohit Shetty’s cop universe cheered up audience during the Diwali festival this year as the cop drama went on to collect Rs 120.66 crore in first week. On the second Friday, the cop action drama held well on to its position and dropped by only 18% which is excellent with Rs 6.83 crore.

On Saturday, the Karan Johar produced film went up by almost 50% to collect Rs 10.35 crore. The earnings shot up again on Sunday and minted Rs 13.39 crore bringing the 2nd weekend collections to Rs 30.57 crore and 10 days collections to Rs 151.23 crore. The earnings dropped on Monday with Rs 4.50 crore while Tuesday was amazing with Rs 3.92 crore.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 1st Day Box Office Prediction – Should Have An Encouraging Start

The cop drama held well on 2nd Wednesday with Rs 3.42 crore. As per early estimates, Sooryvanshi collected somewhere between Rs 3-3.10 crore, summing up the 14 days total collections to Rs 166-166.27 crore, crossing its budget of Rs 165 crore. Sooryvanshi will face Bunty Aur Babli 2 from today which will be the second biggest release post pandemic situation.

Sooryavanshi has been released in 3519 screens across India while the budget is estimated to be around Rs 165 crore (Production Cost: 150 Crore & Prints and Advertising cost: 15 Crores). The cop drama is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Dharma Productions, Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Productions, Cape Of Good Films and stars Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in key roles.
