In an exclusive interview Nushrratt Bharuccha opened up about the OTT release of Chhorii and how it affected her as an actor:
“To be very honest, Box office collections never directly affected me as an actor I know it matter a lot to the industry. The credit for this goes to the film I did, hit due to different factors; whether it ‘Pyar ka Panchanama’ franchise or ‘Dreamgirl’. So, the pressure of Box Office for me has not set for me, I can’t think like that.”
“What I think when the film is made it has to reach the audiences, then there’s no particularity to watch it on theater screen, one can watch on mobile, TV or laptop and most importantly anywhere. The point is, it should reach out either way it shouldn’t get wasted, that’s what I truly believe.”
Jointly bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis, and Shikhaa Sharma, the film is a Hindi remake of the award-winning and critically acclaimed Marathi film Lapachapi.
