Recently Vishal Bhardwaj took to social media and paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor Irrfan Khan. Vishal is a director by profession. Talking about the journey of Vishal with the late Irrfan on the professional front both of them have shared the screen together many a times.Their first collaboration marks the release of Maqbool which was released in 2003. Maqbool was appreciated a lot by the audiences,and it turned out to be a great film for Hindi Cinemas.
Talking about the collaborations they again collaborated after Maqbool in 2011 for ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.Their last collaborated in 2014 for Haider. Irfan always grabbed the hearts of the audience in whatever he use to perform.Vishal and Irrfan shared the bond of good friends which got enriched as the times passed.
In one of the recent instagram posts Vishal shared a picture in which he was standing in front of Irfan's portrait and paid a emotional tribute to Irrfan sharing the posts he captioned it the caption read “Tere bina zindagi se koi shikva to nahi, Tere bina zindagi bhee lekin zindagi to nahi." After it Babil Khan also shared the pictures of the same to his Instagram stories and posted it.
Recently Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar shared a posts on Facebook and wrote a heartfelt note for his late husband as Qarib Qarib Singlle completes 4 years. Sharing the memories of 2017 where Irrfan had shared reactions to his film Qarib Qarib Singlle.In his note Sutapa wrote “When the sleep disorder still continues even after one and a half year. And FB opens the flood gate of memory a new one each day and sahir saab says ‘tum hote toh yeh hota” as irrfan really wanted to recite this poetry once somewhere.”
