The teaser reveals that Nushrat’s character, Sakshi is not only surrounded by sugarcane fields but also by an old couple and three children, who are not what they seem.

Soon, Sakshi looks dazed and bewildered by the events around her. She even says, “All this is not true. All this is an illusion. (It’s not true. It’s an illusion).” The teaser ends with a bloody hand reaching Sakshi’s stomach while she is sleeping.

The official synopsis of the film shared on YouTube by the streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video says, “Set deep in the heart, Chhori is the story of a modern, young couple, Sakshi (Nushrat Bharucha) and Hemant. Sakshi is eight months pregnant with their first child, when the couple is kicked out of their home, flees the city and takes shelter in a house located inside the sugarcane fields. There is an old couple in the house who know more than they tell. Unknown to Sakshi, the house and farm are filled with dark secrets that threaten Sakshi and her unborn child as the story unfolds. As Sakshi tries to save herself and her unborn child, the scary sight of a burnt-out monster with three mysterious children and a terrifying lullaby emanating from an old transistor wreaks havoc with her sanity. “
