A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by around 400 people including cops for over the past six months in Beed district of Maharashtra.
Disturbing reports came under light in Maharashtra as 16-year-old married girl allegedly raped by 400 people and now impregnant for two months. The accused includes a police officer as well whom she had approached for action.
According to reports by CNN-News18 Lokmat, according to the report, the girl's mother died when almost 2 years back. After that, she was married off by her father. After marriage she was assaulted by her in-laws and thus ran away but her father refused to take her back.
The 16-year-old girl ended up begging at a bus stand in Ambajogai. Two men allegedly sexually exploited her after promising employment. Reportedly, the girl was then subjected to sexual exploitation by hundreds of men. When she approached the Ambajogai Police Station, the police took no action, she claimed. Instead, police officer also allegedly harassed her.

The total number of people who sexually abused her was 400 and she ended up pregnant. The girl finally managed to file a police complaint last week.
The case has been registered under The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape and molestation.
