I reached out to Sonu Sood's foundation. They have now paid… Ishwar Thakur talks about how Sonu Sood helped him financially.
Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai, fame Ishwar Thakur, is not currently a part of the super hit comedy opera. The actor recently revealed the reason for not being in the show and also talked about how Sonu Sood's foundation and his cast members helped him financially.
In an interview, Ishwar Thakur said, "My brother had been undergoing treatment for schizophrenia at the hospital for over 20 years. Earlier the hospital would release him in 6 months but now it's in three months. He gets violent and beats us up. I've been unwell for two years and my mother is a heart patient. We can not keep him at home, so he is at an ashram for which we have to pay rent", he said.
"As you know I'm not well and have been out of work for two years, I could not afford to pay the rent of ashram. I reached out to Sonu Sood's foundation. They have now paid for the accommodation fee of three months for my brother. I'm grateful to him for it", Ishwar Thakur further added.
Talking about how his cast members helped him, he said, "My producer Binaifer Kohli writer Sanad Verma and other actors like Kavita Kaushik, Kiku Sharda, and writer Manoj Santoshi have also helped me. Nupur Alakar talked to the NGO of actress Asha Paresh, who sends me 5000 each month for medication every month from the last one year, which is a huge help as I have several health complications", Ishwar Thakur concluded.
