Malala Yousafzai surprised social media users when she announced her wedding to Asser Mallik with photos from their nikkah ceremony on Twitter. Priyanka Chopra congratulated the Nobel laureate by resharing the post on her Instagram story. The desi girl wrote, “Congratulations @malala. Wishing you so much joy and happiness. You are an absolute vision (sic)!!”
On Tuesday, November 9, Malala Yousafzai shared a couple of pictures from her nikkah ceremony and announced her wedding to Asser. She gave no other information about her husband. Social media users identified him as Asser Malik, general manager of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s High-Performance Centre.
