Names in Deepika Padukone’s family have a ‘Diwali’ connection, actress reveals fun fact !

Deepika Padukone is currently having the time of her life in Dubai with her beloved mother Ujjala. A lot of pictures and videos of the actress are making their way onto the internet through social media accounts of her fans.

In her recent pictures and videos, Deepika is seen shopping with her mother in a mall. Dressed in an all-black outfit, the leggy lass looked pretty as ever. While shopping, the actress was also seen stopping and obliging her fans with selfies.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika is one of the busiest actresses we have in Bollywood right now. The actress has some very interesting line-up of films ahead of her that includes, Shakun Batra’s untitled next with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles. She also has Kabir Khan’s ‘’83’ co-starring Ranveer Singh and others. The actress has also reportedly co-produced the film.

Apart from these, Deepika is also a part of Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham and ‘Fighter’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with none other than Hrithik Roshan for the first time. She has also been roped in for Naga Chaitanya’s next with Prabhas.

Deepika Padukone just made an interesting revelation about the names in her family including mom Ujjala, dad Prakash and sister Anisha. The actress has shared a Diwali special video.

With Diwali around the corner, Deepika Padukone just posted a rather beautiful video sharing childhood memories of celebrating the festival of lights. In the video, she has mentioned about bursting crackers as a kid with her friends and also lighting ‘sursurbati’. However, the highlight of the video is DP drawing a Diwali connection with all the names in her family.For those unaware, Deepika’s family comprises of her mother Ujjala, father Prakash and sister Anisha. Not many must have noticed but all the four names indicate ‘light’. The meaning of Deepika is light. The word Prakash, which is derived from the Sanskrit word prakāśa, means bright light. Ujjala, on the other hand, mans bright or filling something with light. And Anisha means light that cuts darkness.
