It's been revealed that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have agreed to part ways after being in a relationship for two years. The ex-couple will go on to co-parent their daughter Khai.
According to the reports by People, it was disclosed by many sources that Zayn-Gigi have gone separate ways and have officially broken up. The report also added that though they were not together at present, they were good parents and were co-parenting their daughter, Khai.
Gigi’s envoys further reportedly noted that she was solely concentrated on the best for her daughter and she has advised everyone to give her some privacy during this time.
The famous supermodel and singer were lately in the news when the latter's mother-in-law alleged that he struck at her while Gigi was not at home. According to a report in TMZ, Yolanda Hadid asserted that Zayn Malik hit her and she was deemed to filing a police report against him.
After this statement, Zayn took to his Twitter handle to say his side of the story. According to him, Yolanda Hadid arrived at their home while his partner was away many weeks ago. He further noted that this should've been a private matter and conveyed sadness at how this news was leaked to the press.
He wrote, ‘As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in. A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.’
