Army Chief Narvane hails the introduction of woman army chief at NDA opening it's door. He thinks that the first step towards establishing gender equality is increasing number of woman in army.Woman are progressing in the society.

This is an age of woman empowerment, where woman are powerful, strong and can take their own decisions. However the number of woman in army, air force is still far away from being equal but the good thing is that progress is happening to reduce the gender gap as much as possible.

"As we go ahead, we shall be inducting women cadets into NDA in Pune, and I'm sure they'll perform as well as the men cadets. It's just the 1st step towards gender equality, and Army has always been at forefront of all such initiatives in the country": Army Chief Naravane

"This is the first step towards gender equality as woman will be trained at NDA and later indicted in the arm force " said General arm force. The Army Chief was addressing the cadets after reviewing the passing out parade.

He said ," For woman's training the infrastructure will be a little different but the training will be same which men get in their training session".

He increased the faith of people especially woman listening to him by saying " With Modernisation and woman being imparted Defence Training , 40 years down the lane we will se woman at my position".

"As We open the portals for women cadets we expect you to welcome them with the same sense of professionalism as Indian arm force are known as world over ", he said.
