A farmer’s son, Pankaj has seen the village life and the problems that lie within it from extremely close quarters. Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj said, ‘’ Panchayat election is one great example of the basic democracy and that everyone should participate in the upcoming elections for their own betterment. The beauty of the Panchayat election lies in the fact that the contestants are from the village itself so it makes it easier for the villagers to know their candidates thoroughly. The Election Commission has introduced modern techniques such as biometric and EVM to standardize the process of elections.
