67 National Film Awards:-A Remarkable moment for Rajnikanth, says "It was great pleasure to meet the Prime Minister and the President of India”

The 67th National Film Awards ceremony took place on Monday, October 25.Actor Rajinikanth was granted with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award on Monday. He received the prestigious award from Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu for his stupendous contribution to Indian cinema.

The power house actor Rajinikanth who has appeared in more than 160th film. He began his film career by playing supportive roles before lead to main hero After successful film throughout 1980's and 1990's the actor get huge fame / popularity in Tamil culture . Rajinikanth has also worked in different Indian film industry such as hindi, telgu,malayalam and bengali.

He made his cinematic debut with K. Balachander's 1975 Tamil drama Apoorva Raagangal, in which he played a minor role of an abusive husband He had his first major role in Balachander's Telugu drama film Anthuleni Katha (1976), and got his breakthrough in Tamil with Moondru Mudichu (1976)—also directed by Balachander. 1977.He worked in 15 films as a negative role including Avargal,  Vayathinile, Aadu Puli Attam and Gaayathri. He had positive roles in Kavikkuyil, the Kannada film Sahodarara Savaal, and the Telugu film Chilakamma Cheppindi.

In 1980 he He played dual roles in the action thriller Billa  which was a remake of the Bollywood film Don. On Wednesday Rajinikanth took his Twitter handle and share a few glimpse of visited and said "It was great pleasure to meet the Prime Minister and the President of India”. after receiving the honor Rajinikanth showed gratitude towards central government.

He also remembered his mentor k Balachander and said "I'm extremely happy to receive this and thank the government for it. I dedicate by the award to my mentor guru, Balachander sir." Asha Bhosle, Mohanlal, were among others who were nominated along with superstar Rajinikanth for this prestigious award.

Rajinikanth’s son-in-law and actor Dhanush also won the National Film Award in the Best Actor category for his performance in Asuran Proud wife and daughter Aishwarya took her instagram handle and shared a picture of Rajinikanth and Dhanush with their award and wrote "They are mine … and this is history #prouddaughter #proudwife." This event marks the first time where both the award is awarded to the same family.
